SUWEN

Founded in Istanbul in 2003 by a team that produces for the world's leading underwear brands, Suwen started its first sales in multi-department stores in 2005. After opening its first store under its own brand in 2007, it entered a period of rapid growth. In addition to the founding partners, in 2017, Suwen became a partner with Taxim Capital (“Intilux S.àr.l”), a private equity investment fund that aims to become a partner by providing growth capital to Turkey's medium-sized and potential companies, and started trading on Borsa Istanbul on April 21, 2023 taking important steps towards institutionalization.

Operating in the Turkish women's underwear, home wear and beach wear sector, Suwen has been developing underwear products since its establishment, home wear since 2012, beach wear since 2014, and socks and accessories since 2016 through its own professional designers. Adding cosmetics and perfumery products to its portfolio as of 2023, Suwen produces mainly through cooperation with domestic production companies and sells in Turkey and an increasing number of export markets through its strong store network and e-commerce channel.

Products from Suwen are offered for sale through retail, e-commerce and wholesale channels. Suwen's second largest sales channel, whose main sales channel currently consists of retail, and which is expected to play an important role in its future growth, is its own e-commerce platform at www.suwen.com.tr, established in 2019, and third-party e-commerce sales platforms.

As Turkey's fastest growing Women's Underwear retail brand, considering the increase in the number of stores among the 5 largest brands of underwear store chains according to the 2021 Sector Report of the independent consultancy company Deloitte, Suwen has become an increasingly accessible brand with 174 stores in 49 provinces of Turkey as of December 31, 2023.
